Who I am

I am a Satir Model counselor and trainer based in Wuhan, China. My work spans individual counseling and growth support, professional training, and conference interpretation for Satir Model programs — bringing together my background in psychology, embodied practice, and cross-cultural work.

For many years I have worked across counseling, training, translation, and organizational and talent development. This breadth reflects a single intention: to help people — and the groups they belong to — reconnect with themselves, with others, and with life.

Professional background

  • Certified Psychological Counselor — National Level II, China (国家二级心理咨询师)
  • Satir Model trainer and counselor
  • Conference interpreter (simultaneous) for Satir Model professional programs
  • Satir Model organizational consultant and executive coach (including for overseas assignees)

Professional training

My training background includes systematic study and practice in the Satir Model. I have served as conference interpreter alongside international Satir faculty — including Dr. Madeleine De Little's program on sandplay, the Satir Model, and neuroscience for working with adolescents.

Working philosophy

The Satir Model begins with a simple belief: every person has intrinsic worth, and change toward greater wholeness is always possible. My work integrates psychology, body and embodied practice, neuroscience, and perspectives from traditional Chinese medicine — not as a patchwork of techniques, but around one central question:

How does a person reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the force of life?

In counseling, training, and interpretation alike, I aim for the same qualities: warmth without excess, clarity without oversimplification, and respect for each person's own experience.

Interpretation & international work

As a professional interpreter for Satir Model programs, I support cross-cultural learning between international faculty and Chinese-speaking participants. This work keeps me close to the evolving edge of the field and deepens my own practice.
